Google Newslab Play Session for Academics

Ever wondered how to harness the powers of Google for your academic research? Ever wanted to go beyond using the search engine for basic queries? Google News Lab may be the resource you’ve been looking for. Designed for journalists and those interested in news writing, analysis, and commentary, its tools can also be used for serious scholarly research in the classroom, for your next paper, or even in getting your original research out the door.

In this brown bag lunch session Ken Chitwood of UF’s Religion Department will lead a “play session” for students, faculty, and staff looking to explore Google News Lab’s tools.
