Harrison received a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Puget Sound in 2019. He then received an MA in Religious Studies from Arizona State University in 2021. Following a Religion in the Americas track, his Master’s thesis focused on peyote and its intersections with colonialism, indigeneity, sustainability, borders, and law. Now working towards a PhD at the University of Florida, Harrison hopes to focus more on ecology, ethnobotany, and sustainability while still exploring features of religion and colonialism that were central to his earlier work.
